Kapil Sharma HITS back at a troll who questions his take on farmers' protests; says, 'Work hard and contribute for nation-building'

Kapil Sharma who has wowed people with his comedy for more than a decade now is one aware citizen. He knows what is happening in and around the country. As we know, one of the seething topics is the farmers' protests. The farming community in North India is asking permission from the Government to directly sell to supermarkets in cities. They are in arms about having to sell at low rates. Commenting on the matter, Kapil Sharma said it was an important issue. He said that no issue was so huge that it could not be solved through dialogue and negotiation. He said that farmers were the backbone of the Indian economy and the we must listen to them. Check out his tweet here...

One troll him not to act as a well-wisher of the farming community and concentrate on his primary work, which is stand-up comedy. Not one to take things lying down, Kapil Sharma shut him up. He said that people should focus on their work and not poke noses everywhere. He said trolling people after taking Rs 50 recharge was senseless. He added that nation-building needed real hard work.

A number of celebs from Punjab have spoken in favour of farmers. Diljit Dosanjh, Ammy Virk and Himanshi Khurana have been vocal in their support. Kapil Sharma too has shown time and again that he is a conscious citizen.
